BASK 7: Backgrounds - The Finishing Touch
This book was released in June 2003 and includes a variety of patterns with complete sequences as well as a medley of ideas for unusual background treatments. The text features interesting examples in finished pieces from over thirty outstanding designers and teachers as well as examples from Ann's work. These pieces are presented in black and white in the text, but a CD is included so that the designs can be either viewed or printed out in full color on a computer. The author has an established reputation for innovative stitch treatments, and many of the patterns presented are open arrangements with unconventional stitch sequences that conceal the traveling threads automatically.
